CLINICAL - Respiratory Medcine

Introduction

In our department we strive to diagnose and treat all respiratory cases, routine as well as emergencies. We are working with a fully functional RICU with ventilators /BiPAP with round the clock Laboratory, Radiology and ABG backup

The 3 tier system of implementation includes :-
1. Patient care
2. Providing skill and education to the undergraduates
3. Community Work

Curriculum

Undergraduate students are provided concept base in the field of tuberculosis through clinical posting and teaching program demonstration. The students are given clinical postings for duration of 15 days.

Facilities

• Free diagnostic and treatment facility to all the patients attending OPD for tuberculosis
• TB & Chest wards having 22 beds for inpatient treatment
• SIMS providing DOTS and Retrieving Defaulters
